On June 17, 2021, Shenzhen CGN Engineering Design Co., Ltd. and Beijing KNT Technology Co., Ltd. jointly organized a product appraisal meeting in Beijing for the “Hualong One Severe Accident Containment Hydrogen Concentration Monitoring System.” The meeting consisted of three sessions: introductions of the participants and selection of the appraisal panel chair, a presentation by the project team on the research and development process, and a question-and-answer session with the experts. The meeting provided a detailed overview of the system’s development background, operating principles, system configuration, type testing, and research achievements.

The expert appraisal panel unanimously concluded that Beijing KNT Technology Co., Ltd. possesses the necessary design and manufacturing capabilities, comprehensive testing equipment, and a well-established quality assurance system. The product’s performance meets engineering requirements and has reached an internationally advanced level. The panel approved the product appraisal and confirmed that the system is ready for mass production.
